Please email me if you have suggestions for resources outside of Bangkok.We are frequently asked to provide referrals to individuals and families in Phuket, Chiang Mai and around Thailand. The difficulty is that good resources simply aren't present.
Chiang Mai
Despite a large expatriate population, there is a real shortage of competent and qualified foreign mental professionals in Chiang Mai. There is an abundance of Christian Counseling available in Chiang Mai. This includes Cornerstone Counseling (their website is a bit misleading- they do not provide services for people outside their religious community) and The Well (counselors are not traditionally trained or credentialed).
